New breakthrough shows promise for affordable plastic solar energy cells
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — University of Florida researchers statement they have achieved a new record in efficiency with a prototype solar cell that could be manufactured using a roll-to-roll process.

The highest is around 40% and the disgrace end ones are around 30 % as off 2008.
I suspect that conjectural solar cell efficiencies will be / are less important to most of us than the ability to inexpensively mass-produce the solar cells.
