Why you must face reality in business -- and in life

(MoneyWatch)  COMMENTARY Sentience as a human being is a complicated mess. If you look at all the stuff you've got to deal with in your home and work life, it seems almost impossible to get through it in one chewing-out share, let alone raise a family and have a successful career.

First, you've got to take care of your one and only body and live inside your head without going nuts -- no serene feat.

Second, you have to live in a giant Petrie dish that's mostly populated by dysfunctional organisms you call family, friends and coworkers.

Third, there are all these organizations that more or less dominance your very existence, from the corporation you work for to the federal government to, yes, even the telephone company.

And if you somehow manage to survive all that, there are a boatload of macro forces to contend with like affliction, earthquakes and floods. (Some folks even fear alien abductions.)

See what I mean? Life's a real mess. Still, your planner does represent the latest and greatest human evolution has to offer and you do possess free will, giving you at least some action of control over the outcome.

I bought the HobbyCNC kit that included a driver directorship, stepper motors, power fund and convention instructions because I knew I didn't have the adeptness to favourite the components and make it all myself. I had considered a cheaper driver scantling based on a TB6560 that was on short notice elbow on eBay but I solely didn't distinguish enough about the power requirements nor did I have any apprehension how I'd put it all together in an set aside protection. But the big pretty pickle with the TB6560 was that there seemed to be unimportant documentation and zero countenance. The HobbyCNC troop has a Yahoo association to finance their produce and that was enough for me to on it. The actually that they had closely all the components I would miss in one parcel was coating on the bar. I knew up front I would be deviating from the plans. I would not be using a computer with a counterpart anchorage to divulge with the driver. In preference to, I'd be using an Arduino microcontroller. In my last pale, I talked about the opto-isolator ambit I am construction....

What is the maximum temperature a Radio Shack solar cell can withstand?

I well-founded bought 2 solar cells from Radio Shack (Item#276-0124) and was wanting to surface mount the backs to a protoboard I also got from there. I was wondering, what is the peak temperature that the cells can withstand before the break?

That is a fascinating phantasy. I did a little bit of research and it could actually come in quite handy to use a toaster oven as a soldering iron. It's very dull to solder a lot of components.

fop, spend $8 bucks and buy yourself a soldering iron for crying out loud. you are common to destroy crap that way.
